We have enjoyed the great outdoors for many years and got our introduction to the forests of the Ocoee Unit of the Cherokee National Forest by our Father at very young ages. Now by we and us I mean my brother and I. My Father was raised in the area and spent many years walking through those mountains and knew the area very well. It seems that back then there were more hours in the day than there is now. We were taught to go that extra mile. Walk further than the next guy, stay out there longer, a little rain never hurt anyone, GO WHERE OTHERS DO NOT WANT TO GO,  are all bits of wisdom that was shared with us and we still use today.
Dad would take us into those mountains very early in the morning without using a light source of any kind and set us down in a hollow and then would disappear into the darkness. Dang you would get into trouble for that now. I was around 8 and my brother 6 and he left me with a single shot shotgun or 22 rifle. The big difference was that we were raised around guns and knew what they could do. Weird though, we never shot anyone!
Well anyways after the sun came up and the critters got to moving around we would hear him shoot off in the distance and we even shot a few squirrels too. Oh yeah did I tell you we were squirrel hunting. I can remember him showing us all kinds of game sign from squirrel and deer, wild boar and even bear sign. Funny thing is we were never scared because he was always close enough to keep and eye on us. We were also raised to eat what we shot and do not shoot animals just to be shooting them.
I can remember many a weekend that he would take the time to venture with us into the outdoors and attempt to teach us what he knew. It is also weird how that same pack of crackers or sandwich we eat at home tasted so much better outdoors. Funny thing is we now need something to be able to navigate those same woods we were raised up in. Not that there was any issues with his teaching more than our learning or should I say remembering.
The problem now is we just do not have enough time in the week to spend that quality time in the outdoors and really learn the areas we are in. Now we depend on GPS, and all kinds of trail marking systems to find our way throughout this world.
What? You say you do not use trail markers? OK! How do you find your way when traveling? Traffic signs, Billboards, House Numbers, The Big Oak Tree, Roads, Rocks, and Water are all types of trail markers we use in every day life. Heck how do you tell someone where the restroom is? "Down the hall 3rd door on the left." Locate a Business? "At the red light turn left, go to the 2nd store and turn right, then at the stop sign go straight and it is the 6th brick house on the left." Don't those also count as a trail marker? We use them all the time in our everyday lives whether we know it or want to admit it..
We will be adding other products in the future but we are a little bias so if we do not use them we will not offer them. We like to be honest if someone asks for input on a product WE WILL GIVE THEM OUR HONEST OPINIONS.  I am not saying we use the most expensive or the most popular Items at any time. We use what works for us and the way we hunt. So if you meet us out in the world and do not want our opinions I have only one word of advice, DO NOT ASK FOR IT!

Though we may voice it anyway if we feel the need arrises.
